Been making dish/wash cloths out of remnants of cotton yarn I have - here is what i have so far - designed myself - made up something quick and easy - and very pretty - used Lily Sugar-n-Cream 100% Cotton Yarn with size H crochet hook - measures 7.5 x 9 - just may have enough to make some nice holiday gifts this year

This can be used as a potholder, dishcloth or washcloth or even a doily - sure finishes up fast!

FREE CROCHET PATTERN - Shawl-Wrap

CROCHET TRIANGLE SHAWL-WRAP IN TURQUOISE
designed and created by Janet Marie Marston-McGregor
posted on 08/28/2011

08/28/2011 - finished my turquoise shawl - I am very pleased with it - I used Plymouth-Jeanne cotton blend yarn - took 9 skeins - trimmed in a TRDC shell then fringe.

______________________________________

(make 3DC in 1st and last of each row)

ROW 1 - with size K hook, CH4 (counts as DC here and throughout); 2 more DC in 1st CH (makes 3DC); CH3, turn;

ROW 2 - CH3 counts as 1st DC; 2 more DC in same CH (for total of 3DC); DC in each SP between DC; 3DC in last; CH3; turn

REPEAT ** till desired size;

TRIM - did a TC (Triple Crochet or Double Treble in Euro) shell border; then added fringe

BORDER - SS in first stitch, *3TC in next, SS in next*; REPEAT * till you get to the bottom trible point - make sure you do 3TC in the point, skip a stitch if you have an extra one; REPEAT * and go up the other side

FRINGE (optional) - I cut 3 12-inch strands, folded over to make fringe to go inbetween each shell - depending on how long you make your shawl, it could be about 42 sets of fringe

Please do not sell this pattern - you may use it (and sell what you make), share it, and link back to this site. Enjoy!
